ACCEPTS:
• Telephone books
• Newspapers
• Aluminum cans
• Glass bottles, with metal removed
• Corrugated Cardboard
• Mixed paper (junk mail, boxboard, office
paper, computer paper)
• Catalogs & magazines (less than 1 1/2” in thickness)
• Steel (tin) cans
• Plastic Containers: Now
accepting plastic containers of the following types: #1, #2,
#3, #4, #5, & #7. Recyclable containers are usually marked on
the bottom of the container with the type of plastic inside a
triangular symbol. Plastic containers for beverages, food,
personal care, household products, and many other non-hazardous
materials can now be recycled. The depository still cannot
accept #6 plastic containers or any Styrofoam products, plastic
wrap, plastic bags, plastic grocery bags, foam, or polystyrene
products. Also, to avoid pollution and for health reasons, the
depository cannot accept containers that contained antifreeze,
motor oil; disposable diapers, frozen food bags, or hazardous
materials. NOTE: No pipes, siding, construction material
or sheeting. Tupperware is acceptable IF it has the proper
plastic recyclable # on it.

The following items
cannot be accepted at the depository: trash, furniture,
appliances, rugs, mattresses, sofas, brush, tree limbs, wood, yard
waste, concrete, bricks, tires, batteries, oil, scrap metal, or plastic bags.
