 PICNIC SEASON

Reservations are accepted starting the first working day in January for residents of Kirkwood and the first working day of March for non-residents.

Maximum group size: 300

SEASON: 2nd full weekend in April - last full weekend in October

Fees and Deposits 

All reservations require a fee (see table below) and deposit. No refund of fees will be issued due to inclement weather or if notice of picnic cancellation is not given to parks reservationists at least two weeks prior to the date reserved.
 

Special Event Fee 

This includes such things as but not limited to: fund raising barbecues, walkathons, dog shows etc. Generally, events that require extra set-up time from park staff are classified as a "special event." Most special events will need to be approved by the park supervisor before a reservation can be made.

Athletic Fields - Athletic fields can be reserved for a period not to exceed two hours, subject to availability. The rates are as follows: Unlit fields: Resident $3.50 per hour, non-resident $7 per hour. Lighted fields: Resident - $12, non-resident $18.

Liquor - Liquor is permitted in the parks with a permit. Liquor is not to exceed 5% alcohol content.

Rental Pit - A mobile barbecue pit (30"x60") is available for $20 pending availability.

* Merit group is defined as a not-for-profit organization such as the Lions Club. You must provide a tax-exempt letter.
