Located in the Kirkwood Community Center complex at 111 S. Geyer Road.
The award winning Recreation Station Aquatic Center offers a large variety of aquatic-based activities for every member of the family. During public swimming hours you can swim laps in the competitive pool, play on the aquatic playground, float in the Lazy River, take a wild ride down the slides, or relax on the beach in the leisure pool. PUBLIC SWIMMING
The Recreation Station Aquatic Center offers public swimming throughout the summer. Please note the facility is available to residents of Glendale, Kirkwood and Oakland only. For entry into the pool, you will need to present a Kirkwood Parks and Recreation-issued ID card. No other form of ID will be accepted to gain admittance into the facility. Each ID card holder will be allowed up to four guests per day, with a maximum allowance of 16 guests per family each day. All guests will pay non-resident guest daily admission fees.*
ID CARD:
ID cards are $5 each, both for originals and replacements, and are good for up to three years. In order to obtain an ID card, each purchaser, 16 and over, must present a valid and current Missouri Driver’s License (or State of Missouri ID card), showing resident address and a current utility bill (gas, water, electric, or phone), bank statement, or voter ID card, issued to their home address within the last three months. Purchasers age 15 and under must be accompanied by a person at the same address who can present the documents listed above.

*Please Note: Non-residents may only enter the pool as guests of residents and at the non-resident rate. Season passes may only be purchased by residents. Residents are defined as persons living in Kirkwood, Oakland, and Glendale.

Passes are sold at the Kirkwood Community Center office, 111 S. Geyer Rd., during regular office hours. Season Passes include picture ID cards for each pass holder.
Tot Time (Ages 5 and Under): Kids can get on board during this special time for preschoolers. The Family Play pool is open for this activity. Parents, bring your Recreation Station ID card, and your child gets into this session for $2.50 while you get in free. Non-resident admission (this activity only) is $4.

Pioneer Polo (Grades 6 through 11): New format for 2012! Sunday classes will be the traditional work outs of instruction and drills for all skill levels (no prior experience is needed) for a full two hours for both age groups. Wednesday nights will now be high school age league nights as part of the Strike Zone Polo League at MICDS. The combination of practices and league games will help hone one's swimming skills, endurance, as well as, water polo strategy and technique. Lead coach is KHS JV Head Coach. Price includes league fees for the high school participants.

Water Fitness: Our water aerobics class is the coolest way to exercise during the summer. Sign up today for one of our exciting classes! New this year is the option to purchase a 10-punch card, so you can come and go to any class you like, on

River Walk Club: The River Walk Club gives participants the chance to walk against the current in the Lazy River. Fee includes unlimited sessions at any of the below listed times. No class July 4 and 23.

Swim & Dive Team: Our recreational Swim and Dive Team is for Kirkwood, Glendale, and Oakland youth have appropriate swimming and diving skills. Practices held weekday mornings. Meets are scheduled weekday evenings.
Back by popular demand, evening practices for swim and dive ages 13 and up only. New team member skills assessment will be held Saturday, April 28, and Saturday, May 5 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the St. Louis Community College at Meramec college pool. Courtney Shupe Scholarship Program: This program is designed to assist young people ages 17 and under, whose families or households face economic challenges, in enjoying the programs and facilities of the Kirkwood Aquatic Center, including Swim & Dive Lessons and Season Pass. Pool Rentals: All or parts of the Aquatic Center are available for rental. Rental times are available after public session hours and lesson activities, and until 11:00 p.m. Prices are based on the size of the group and the facilities reserved. Call 314-822-5859 for details.
Special Events
Swim/Dive Meets: The diving boards will close at 2:30 p.m., and the lap pool will close at 3:00 p.m., for home Swim & Dive meets on June 11 & 25 and July 16. The remainder of the aquatic facility will remain open. Swim prelims will be held on the mornings of July 23 and 24.
Family Night: Bring the whole family for an evening of swimming under the stars! Enjoy music, games, and fun! Half-price admission for residents of Kirkwood, Glendale, and Oakland with an ID card. Normal admission policies for all others. Friday, July 13, 7:45 to 9:15 p.m.
Middle School Night: Calling all incoming and current middle school students!! We will have music, games, and fun for all. FREE for resident youth of Kirkwood, Glendale, and Oakland. Normal admission policies and prices for non-resident youth apply.

Planning a Birthday Party? Saturday Birthday Party Package: Celebrate your preschooler's birthday at the Aquatic Center on a Saturday morning. Your preschooler and 11 friends can swim in the Family Play Pool for an hour and then enjoy cake and soda from the Boxcar Concession Stand. $160. Call 314-822-5859.
Birthday Party Area. Our birthday party area is the perfect place for a birthday gathering. The area is located in the lower concession area, next to the lockers, and can accommodate up to 12 people. You can bring your own cake, but all other food and beverages must be purchased at the concession stand. Price does not include admission fees.
