The map isn't working.
Answer:
Kirkwood's Internet GIS was designed to run on Internet
Explorer, version 5 and after. It may not work as well on other
browsers.
Question:
I'm using Internet Explorer version 5 or latest versions. It
still isn't working.
Answer:
Clearing your browser cache may solve the problem of a
bogged-down, slow-to-respond Internet session.
From the browser's file menu: "Tools" ->
"Internet Options" will call a dialogue box.
Under "General" tab, "Temporary Internet
files" section, select "Delete Files..." This
will call a command box.
Check the box for "Delete all offline content" and
select "OK".
When finished, click "OK" to close the main dialogue
box. Close and re-open Internet Explorer, and try the map again.
Question:
I'm using the identifier tool to call up data. I click on a
location, but nothing happens.
Answer:
Data opens in a new, pop-up window. Some Internet browsers have
pop-up window blocking ability. If your browser blocks the
pop-up window, you can set the blocker to allow particular
pop-ups. Pop-up blocker software usually lists what websites
attempted to block pop-ups. Set the software to allow for
"w3.kirkwoodmo.org".
